hi, i found out about fxgen and think that it is great.
I would like to use it to create heightmaps for a game. but this game would be multiplatform, so fxgen wouldnt work right now.
Is there anybody developing fxgen so that it works under linux?

Right now no one is working on making it multi platform. However, I don't think it would be a pretty easy thing to do. The core engine almost is already, and the editor has fairly few win32 dependencies (mainly in the windowing system, but that's basically just opening some windows and drawing things in them).
It works
Revision 87, protex/ branch, can be compiled and used under Linux. Currently, only Code::Blocks projects are provided, i.e. there are no Makefiles. I believe this is not a serious problem.
64-bit Linux users can make use of the ready-to-use binaries.
